Cemeteries

Cemeteries offer a personal link to past residents of Wolcott. For some families in town, these are the final resting places for parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. There is perhaps no stronger connection to our common past than in the cemeteries within Wolcott.

There are six cemeteries in the town of Wolcott, all of which are cared for and overseen by the Wolcott Cemetery Commission.

Davenport Cemetery

Davenport Cemetery is a 20 acre burial ground.

Fairmount Cemetery

Fairmount Cemetery is a 20 acre burial ground.

Hubbell Cemetery

Hubbell Cemetery is a private, 0.25 acre burial ground named after one of Wolcott’s first settling families who arrived in 1789.

Pierce Cemetery

Pierce Cemetery is a private 0.5 acre burial ground.

Taylor Cemetery

Taylor Cemetery is a 7 acre burial ground named after one of Wolcott’s first settling families who arrived in 1789.

West Hill Cemetery

West Hill Cemetery is a 0.5 acre burial ground.
