About the band
Suspended jubilee, words and flowers become your dress, and spinning you will go, with the Charlie Millard Band. Growing up in northern Michigan, this three-piece outfit of piano•bass•organ, guitars and percussion fits into a rock-n-roll suite suit, with socks of organic jazz, gripping an umbrella through cinematic squalls. They tour the country and beyond, all year long, playing riverbeds, alleyways and garden sheds to shadow show theaters with ballet companies bringing the whirlwind alive.
