Notice of Vacancy: Selectboard Administrative Assistant

The Town of Wolcott seeks a dynamic, team oriented individual to work in close coordination with the Selectboard and other Town employees in the administration of Selectboard and Highway Department priorities. This position will have various responsibilities in the areas of Administration, Financial,
Highway and Public Relations.

  • Degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in local government planning and administration, or equivalent
    experience in business or government.
  • Grant writing, grant administration and grant management experience
    strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of municipal operations, intergovernmental relations and
    Vermont municipal law.
  • Management experience in an office environment preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office and adaptable to new office
    $20-$25/hr with benefits commensurate with experience. This is a part-time
    hourly position of 30 hours per week requiring a flexible schedule that will
    include night meetings.
