Effective December 3, 2025 the Wolcott Transfer Station will no longer be taking any mattresses or box springs.
The LRSWMD will continue to take them.
All mattresses and box springs fees will be $45 per unit.
The Price increase is due to the materials having to be recycled and the $45/unit is the cost the District is being charged.
Mattresses and box spring will only be accepted at the Stowe and Johnson Transfer Stations.
