The Town of Wolcott is seeking a Wolcott resident to serve on the Wolcott Planning Commission. This commission meets on the first Monday of every month at 6pm (Zoom meeting option is available).
The Wolcott Planning Commission acts as citizen planners to guide community growth. Their core duties include:
- Working alongside the Lamoille County Planning Commission writing and updating the municipal Town Plan.
- Drafting land use bylaws like zoning and subdivision rules.
- Conducting local studies.
- Holding public informational meetings to gather resident feedback on planning policies on community development.
